What is your return policy on labels?
We want you to love your purchase, but please note that we cannot accept returns on custom labels. Since all our labels are made-to-order and we begin production right away, unfortunately, we cannot change or cancel your order once it’s started. However, if you need to make any changes, please contact us as soon as possible at we’ll do our best to assist you. If your order is already in production, changes may incur additional fees.
Each label is custom-made just for you, so please choose carefully as we do not offer returns or exchanges for change of mind. If we are able to cancel your order before production begins, a restocking fee may apply.
What is your return policy on products?
We totally understand that ordering online can sometimes be a bit tricky! That’s why we offer store credit if the product isn’t quite what you had in mind. To qualify for a return, the product must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging. You’ll just need to cover the cost of return shipping.
We recommend packaging the item securely to avoid any damage during transit. Once we receive the product in its original condition, we’ll process a store credit for the value of the item. Please allow up to 5 business days for us to arrange the credit, and our team will notify you once it has been processed.
We know things happen, but unfortunately, we can’t cover the cost of items damaged during return shipping. Please ensure they’re well wrapped, as any damage during return may be deducted from your credit. Thanks so much for your understanding!
What if my product arrives damaged, incorrect or faulty?
We’re really sorry if something’s wrong with your order! If your product arrives damaged or faulty, please email us as soon as possible.
Be sure to include your full name, order number, a description of the issue, and photos of the damaged item. Once we’ve had a chance to review the details, we’ll either send you a replacement or refund the purchase price (excluding postage).
Do your products come with a warranty?
Yes, we take pride in the quality of our products and guarantee they’re free from manufacturing defects. Our standard warranty covers all products for 14 days from the date of delivery, while push tops and grinders come with a 12-month warranty. If any issues arise during these periods, just get in touch, and we’ll arrange a replacement. Please note, this warranty applies only to manufacturing defects and does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or accidental damage.

- All custom labels and personalised items are made to order, and we typically process and dispatch your order within 5-10 business days.
- During peak periods or sales events, processing times may be slightly longer, but rest assured, we’re working hard to get your order out quickly.
Domestic Shipping (Australia)
- We offer standard shipping across Australia with delivery typically taking 3-5 business days after dispatch, depending on your location.
- Express shipping is available for faster delivery, with most orders arriving within 1-3 business days after dispatch.
- Shipping rates are calculated at checkout and range from $6.95 to $19.95, based on your location and the size/weight of your order.
International Shipping
- Yes, we ship worldwide! International shipping rates and delivery times will be calculated at checkout based on your location.
- Please note that international shipping times can vary, and you may be responsible for any import duties or customs fees. We recommend checking your country’s regulations before placing your order.
Pre-Order Items
- If your order includes a pre-order item, your entire order will be shipped together when the pre-order item is available. For faster delivery of in-stock items, please place two separate orders.
- Pre-order shipping dates are estimates and subject to change. We’ll update the product listing and notify you of any changes.
Tracking Your Order

How long does it take to receive my label order?
Our labels are definitely worth the wait, I promise! We do our best to get your order out as soon as possible, usually 5 business days but since Pretty Little Designs is a small business and every label is custom-made, please allow 5-10 business days for your order to be dispatched.
If you need your order sooner, we offer a Rush My Order option, which ensures your labels are made within 2-3 business days. Just be sure to check the product description before purchasing!
Once dispatched, shipping times vary depending on your location. Most customers in Australia receive their orders within 5-10 business days, while international orders may take a bit longer.
How long does it take to receive my product order?
We aim to get all non-label orders out the door in 1-2 business days because we know you’re eager to receive them! During busier periods, like sales, it might take a little longer to process your order as we are a small But don’t worry, if there’s an unexpected delay, we’ll always reach out to keep you in the loop.

Do you ship overseas?
Yes, we’re happy to ship our labels worldwide! During checkout, the shipping cost and estimated delivery time will be calculated based on your location. If you're ordering products (non-label items), please email us for a personal shipping quote. In your email, kindly include what you’d like to order and your full postal details. Please note, we do not cover any import or customs fees, but we can’t wait to share our products with you, no matter where you are!
Can I track my order?
Absolutely! As soon as your order is dispatched, you’ll receive an email with tracking details so you can follow your package’s journey every step of the way. We want you to be as excited as we are for its arrival!
How much is shipping?
Shipping costs start at $6.95 and go up to $19.95, depending on your postcode and the size and weight of the items in your cart. For international orders, shipping is calculated at checkout based on your location.

Do you deliver to PO Boxes?
Yes, we can deliver labels to any PO Box or Parcel Locker within Australia. For other products, we can sometimes arrange delivery to a PO Box, depending on the item. If you’re unsure whether a specific product can be shipped to a PO Box, please don’t hesitate to contact our team. We’ll be happy to check for you and make sure everything is sorted!
When will me pre-order item be dispatched?
Please refer to the product page of your pre-order item for the estimated dispatch time. All items in your order will be shipped together once the pre-order item arrives. If you need the other items sooner, we recommend placing two separate orders—one for the pre-order and one for the in-stock items.
We make it very clear when an item is a pre-order through banner images, a pre-order “Add to Cart” button, a checkout warning, and a follow-up email with pre-order details. Pre-order dates are subject to change, and we’ll update the product listing if this happens. Pre-orders are only released once we have confirmation that the shipment is on its way.
If you prefer not to wait for pre-orders, you can always opt to purchase available items separately.
Can I pick up my order from the warehouse?
Yes! You can pick up your order from our Mandurah warehouse by selecting the pick-up option at checkout. Once your order is ready, we’ll notify you, and you can collect it at your convenience. We can’t wait to meet you in person! If you need any help or have questions about the pick-up process, feel free to contact us.
Changes & Cancellations
Can I cancel or make changes to my order?
Once your order has been placed, unfortunately, we’re unable to make any changes or cancellations due to our high volume of orders. Everything moves into production right away to ensure you get your items as quickly as possible. Often, we’re working outside regular business hours to keep up, so even if your order is placed late, our label specialist may already be working on it before customer service can respond to your email.
That said, we always want to help if we can! Please contact us as soon as possible, and we’ll do our best to assist. If we haven’t started your order yet, we may be able to make changes. However, if production has already begun, changes may not be possible and could incur fees.
We kindly ask that you take your time selecting your items carefully, as all of our products are made to order, and we’re unable to offer refunds for change of mind.
Can I add items to my order after placing it?
We always want to help, and we’ll do our best to assist depending on what stage your order is at. For product-only orders, or if your order hasn’t been processed yet, we may be able to make changes. Once your order is placed, we typically process it quickly to ensure you get your items as soon as possible.
Please contact us as soon as you can, and we’ll check the status of your order. If it hasn’t been processed, we’ll do everything we can to help. However, if the order has already been processed, changes may not be possible and could incur additional fees.
We kindly ask that you take your time selecting your products, as once the order is processed, we are unable to offer refunds for change of mind.
What if I need to update my shipping address?
If you need to update your shipping address after placing your order, please contact us as soon as possible. If the order hasn’t been dispatched, we can update the address for you. However, if the order has already been shipped, we won’t be able to change the address, and you’ll need to coordinate with the shipping provider.
What happens if my order has already been shipped, but I need to cancel?
Unfortunately, once your order has been shipped, we cannot cancel it. However, if you no longer want the items, you can initiate a return once you’ve received the order. Please refer to our Return Policy for more information on how to return your items.
What if I need to make changes to a pre-order item?
For pre-order items, you can make changes to your order before the item enters production or shipment. If you need to modify your pre-order, please contact us as soon as possible. Once the item is in production or has been shipped, changes will no longer be possible. Please note, if your pre-order is already in the production stage, a fee may apply to make any changes.
Labeling Questions
What are the labels made from, and how long will they last?
Our custom labels are made from high-performance, premium-quality vinyl, designed to be both durable and long-lasting. The vinyl features a high-grade, solvent-based adhesive that ensures secure application and easy removal, making it ideal for a variety of surfaces. Each label is fully waterproof and weather-resistant, so you can use them in kitchens, bathrooms, or even outdoors.
While our labels are removable, they’re not reusable. With proper care, these vinyl labels can last between 5-8 years or longer, providing excellent durability. They also become fully waterproof within 24 hours of application, ready for use in any environment.
What size are my labels?
Every product listing on our website includes the specific sizes for each label. Since all our labels are custom-made and we offer a variety of fonts, it can be tricky to provide exact measurements for each one. Our size guide is there to help you choose the perfect label for your container, jar, or tub, so please be sure to measure your space accurately before selecting a size.
If you’re ever unsure, we encourage you to write down the maximum height and width of your smallest container in our notes to seller and our label specialists will work their magic to create the ideal fit for you! For pantry labels, the height stays consistent, but the width changes depending on the word. For example, "Salt" and "Breadcrumbs" will have the same height but different lengths due to the number of characters.
For personalised name labels, we cap the width at 30cm. So whether your name is "Benjamin" or "Ben," we’ll adjust the height accordingly. You’ll also have the option to choose the size that suits your space best before completing checkout.
Please note that this is just a guide for labels with 1-2 words. If your label has more than 2-3 words, the size may exceed the specified measurements. If you’re unsure at any point, feel free to reach out to our friendly team! You can also provide the total height and width you’d like, and we’ll create your labels to suit. Rest assured, if we have any doubts or your chosen size won’t work, we’ll get in touch with you to make sure everything’s perfect!
Why are some labels the same size for pantry and spice containers?
The size similarity in some pantry and spice labels is due to the nature of the font. Certain fonts have larger spacing, meaning that as the height increases, the label’s length may not be suitable for smaller containers. We tailor label sizes based on the containers to ensure they fit perfectly. If you're ever unsure, please reach out or provide clear measurements, and we'll adjust accordingly. If we make changes to your label size, we’ll always let you know for future orders!
When ordering pantry labels, is 'Plain Flour' or 'Self Raising Flour' one label or more?
We understand how important it is to get the right labels for your pantry! When ordering pantry labels, 'Self Raising Flour' is considered one label, even though it has multiple words. For example, if you’re ordering "Salt," "Sugar," and "Oats," this would count as three labels. Each label can include up to three words, so 'Self Raising Flour' or Plain Flour would be counted as a single label in this case.

Can I use labels in the fridge or freezer?

Do you make custom labels?
Yes, all of our labels are custom-made in our Mandurah, Australia showroom! We take pride in creating high-quality, personalised labels that are tailored to your specific needs. You can fully customise your labels by choosing the wording, font, and colour on each product page, allowing you to create labels that are perfectly suited to your style, pantry, home, or business.
We also offer pre-selected label packs for pantry, spice jars, and other items, designed for those who want a quick and easy start to their organising journey. These packs come with fixed wording and cannot be customised, but they’re a great option if you're looking to simplify the process. If you need to expand on these later, you can always order additional custom labels to complement them for future orders.

How do I remove labels? Are they reusable?
Removing our labels is super easy! Just gently peel them off, and if there’s any sticky residue left behind, a little rubbing alcohol or adhesive remover will help clean it right up. However, our labels are not reusable, so we recommend applying them to your containers once you’re sure about the staples you've decanted. This ensures your containers stay beautifully organised with durable, high-quality labels that last.
Are the labels waterproof?
Yes! Our labels are fully waterproof and highly durable, making them perfect for use on kitchen pantry containers, drink bottles, bathroom storage, and even outdoor items. They’re designed to resist water, humidity, and regular washing, so whether you’re labelling food containers in the pantry, reusable water bottles, or shower products, they’ll stay securely in place and maintain their vibrant appearance over time.
Our waterproof labels are made to withstand daily use in a variety of environments, ensuring they look great and function well, even in wet or humid conditions.
I want to buy 34 different labels, do I purchase them in bulk or individually?
You can purchase both bulk labels and individual labels (some listings may have a minimum order of 3, depending on the style), depending on your needs. If you only need a few labels, simply choose the single label option and adjust the quantity. For larger orders, like 34 different labels, we recommend selecting the 30-pack and adding 4 individual labels to complete your order.
Please ensure you select the correct quantity when placing your order. For example, a 30-pack will give you 30 different labels based on the notes you provide, not 30 of the same label unless you specifically request it. If you need multiples of the same label, be sure to leave a clear note during checkout. Double-check that the number of labels you’ve selected matches the list of labels provided.

Can I order two different types of labels together under one product page?
Yes, as long as the label sizes and colours are the same, you can order them together! For example, if you’re ordering a mix of labels like "Self-Raising Flour," "Salt," "Sugar," "Sponges," "First Aid," and "Cleaning Supplies," you can place them all under the same product listing as long as the size and colour are consistent.
However, if you’re ordering labels in different sizes or colours, you’ll need to place them in separate listings, as they are priced differently. For example, if you want some labels in white and others in black, you would need to order them through two separate listings.

Will you spell check my order?
While we do our best to catch any obvious spelling mistakes, we do not offer a full spell check service on orders. Since some customers request specific spellings for their custom labels, we recommend double checking everything carefully before submitting your order.

Do you apply the labels for us?
Applying labels is a personal process, as everyone has their own preferences on how and where to place them. While we typically don’t offer this service, if you're really in need of assistance, we do provide label application for a fee of $2.50 per product label. We will also need a detailed list of which product each label should be applied to and where on the product you'd like it placed.
Please note, this service is available only in rare cases, as applying labels takes a lot of time and care, and it may delay your order. Due to the high volume of orders we process, we recommend applying the labels yourself to ensure the quickest turnaround time.
Are the labels capitalised?
Yes, all labels are capitalised by default unless you specifically request otherwise. If you prefer your labels to be in all lowercase or all uppercase, please leave clear instructions in the notes section during checkout. Without explicit instructions, we will produce the labels in capitalised format, even if you've typed them in uppercase. It’s important to clearly state your preferences if you want something different.
Please note that some fonts have fixed styles - Font 2, for example, is always lowercase, while Font 7 is uppercase only. You will see this as previewed in our font previews. If you have any preferences or need clarification on specific fonts, don’t hesitate to reach out to us before placing your order!
I can’t see where to apply my label list. How do I do this?
You can easily leave the list for your custom labels in the "Notes to Seller" box during checkout. For the best results, please format your list like this:

Avoid using commas, slashes, or dashes, as these add extra processing time. Keeping it simple helps us create your labels quickly and accurately! At this time, we don’t offer a live preview option on the website. However, rest assured that each custom label is crafted with care and attention to detail. How long does it take to make my custom labels?
We typically create and dispatch personalised labels within 5-10 business days, depending on the volume of orders. As each label is custom-made in our Australian studio, we take great care to ensure every detail is perfect. If you need your order faster, we offer a rush service—just select rush my order and we will fast track this order for you. Please note this is fast track of our turnaround times not shipping. What colours are available for my personalised labels?

Do you offer sample labels for practice?
We understand that applying labels can feel a bit stressful at first, but don’t worry—we’ve got you covered! We offer free sample labels for you to practice with. As a top tip, I recommend filling your container with water and using the waterline as a level for a perfect application. You can easily add sample labels to your order.
Can I get matching labels for my spice jars and other kitchen containers?
Yes, we offer custom labels for a wide range of kitchen containers, including spice jars, large storage tubs, toys and more. You can create a cohesive look throughout your kitchen by ordering matching labels for all your pantry and storage needs.
What’s the best way to clean pantry labels?
Our pantry labels are designed to be durable and easy to clean. Simply wipe them with a damp cloth to keep them looking fresh. However, avoid scrubbing them too hard or using harsh chemicals, as this could damage the label’s surface.
Can I get my pantry labels in a different language?
Yes! We offer custom pantry labels in multiple languages. Simply provide the text you want in the language of your choice, and we’ll create beautiful, functional labels to suit your needs. This is perfect for multilingual households or those who prefer pantry organisation in a different language.
Please note, however, that some fonts may not be suitable for certain languages. We recommend using our font preview tool to check your text before placing the order, or you can email our team for assistance. We’ll do our best to help, but not all styles may be compatible with every language.
How do I apply my labels?
Step 1:
Thoroughly clean the surface using rubbing alcohol or soap and water. Avoid using Windex or similar products, as they can leave residue that affects adhesion. If you're applying the decal to a wood canister, you can skip this step.
Step 2:
Prepare the decal by firmly rubbing a credit card over the transfer tape (the clear tape on the front of the decal). This helps remove air bubbles and ensures the decal clings properly to the transfer tape.
Step 3:
Peel the white paper backing off the decal. If the decal sticks to the backing, replace it and repeat Step 2 to ensure it’s fully adhered to the transfer tape.
Step 4:
Carefully lower the decal onto the surface and press it down firmly with a credit card to ensure a smooth application. For best results, allow the decal to sit for 24 hours before proceeding to the next step.
Step 5:
Slowly peel the clear transfer tape off at an angle. Be careful not to lift the decal off the surface. If the decal begins to pull away, repeat Step 4.

Patience is key! Some surfaces may require extra care, and if you encounter any issues, feel free to contact us for assistance.
I’m having trouble applying my labels, what do I do next?
Sometimes, certain surfaces like matte surfaces on our grinders can be a little tricky when applying labels, but don’t worry—we’ve got you covered. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to apply your labels:
- Clean the surface thoroughly with rubbing alcohol or soap and water. Make sure it’s completely dry and free of dust or residue.
- Prepare the label by using a credit card to smooth out any air bubbles on the transfer tape (the clear tape on the front of the label).
- Peel the backing off the label carefully, making sure the label stays adhered to the transfer tape.
- Apply the label to the surface, starting from one side and pressing firmly as you go to avoid air bubbles.
- Remove the transfer tape slowly at an angle, being careful not to lift the label.
If you’re still encountering issues, we suggest using a hairdryer to gently warm the vinyl label before applying it. The heat will help the adhesive stick better to the surface.

Applying Labels to IKEA Trofast Tubs!
While IKEA Trofast tubs can be a bit tricky when it comes to applying vinyl labels due to their surface, it’s still possible to get a great result with a little extra effort!
Here are our tips:
- Leave the clear application tape on for at least 24 hours before removing it to allow the adhesive more time to bond with the surface.
- Use firm, even pressure when rubbing the label on.
- You can also try gently warming the label with a hairdryer before applying it, as the heat can help the adhesive stick better.
Alternatively, we have a fantastic range of tags that work well with these tubs, or we can create custom options using our wall decals, which are often easier to apply. Just reach out to us for assistance, and we’d be happy to help you find the perfect solution!
Are the labels dishwasher safe?
While our custom vinyl labels are water-resistant, they aren’t suitable for the dishwasher due to the high heat and pressure. For longer-lasting, durable labels, we recommend hand washing any labelled products to keep them in excellent condition. Hand washing helps preserve the adhesive and ensures your labels remain vibrant and secure over time.
What surfaces will the labels adhere to?
Our labels will stick to most smooth surfaces, including glass, wood, plastic, walls, and tiles. Please note that rough or uneven surfaces, especially on wood or matte surfaces, may make application more difficult. If you’re unsure about whether a surface will work, feel free to reach out to us for advice. We cannot be held responsible if the labels don’t adhere properly to certain surfaces, so if in doubt, contact us first for the best guidance before applying!

Can I buy your pantry containers in bulk?
Yes! We offer bulk options for pantry storage containers, allowing you to organise larger spaces efficiently. Check out our bundle packs for extra savings on multiple containers.
What are the best airtight containers?
The best airtight containers are those with a secure, leak-proof seal, like push-top containers. They’re ideal for keeping dry goods fresh while preventing moisture and pests. Look for containers made from BPA-free plastic or glass, which are food-safe and durable.
How do you know if a container is airtight?
Airtight containers have seals or closures that don’t let air in. Our push-top containers are not only leak-proof no water gets out, so nothing gets in! How do I apply labels to my grinder?
Applying labels to certain surfaces, like our grinders, can require a little extra patience. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help:
- Clean the Surface: Use rubbing alcohol or soap and water, ensuring the surface is dry.
- Prepare the Label: Smooth out bubbles with a credit card on the transfer tape.
- Peel and Apply: Remove the backing and press the label firmly from one side to avoid air bubbles.
- Remove Transfer Tape: Peel it off slowly at an angle.
- Extra Help: If needed, gently warm the label with a hairdryer for better adhesion.
Important Note: Allow 24 hours before applying labels to our matte grinders for optimal results. Patience is key! If you need further assistance, please reach out—we’re here to help.
What salt can be used in the grinders?
For our gravity grinders, we recommend using coarse sea salt or rock salt for the best performance. We don’t advise using Himalayan pink salt as it can clog the grinder over time, especially if used near steam, due to its natural properties. Our grinders are crafted to handle coarse salt varieties smoothly, giving you a consistent grind each time.
